Day 1 Luang Prabang arrival

Transfer and accommodation for five nights in a nice house guest of the city center. The building is typical of the era of the protectorate: an air of French province on the Mekong. Shopping alleys and historic sites close by.

Day 2 Luang Prabang- A treasure hunt

This small treasure hunt on foot, tuk-tuk and canoe in search of Phra Bang, bronze statue of the Buddha and national symbol, allows the whole family to discover, index major temples and monasteries in the city. A rather fun way to approach the Theravada Buddhism practiced in Laos.

Day 3 Luang Prabang - The Kuang Si Waterfalls

Morning departure to Kuang Si Waterfalls, located about thirty miles southwest of Luang Prabang. We will drive through beautiful countryside of rice fields and gardens. On site in a green where the play of light and shade, multiple waterfalls tumble a relief of travertine down, the water is collected in a series of natural pools where you can swim all year. Gateways are arranged to facilitate access to the site. Picnic on site. Return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon.

Day 4 Luang Prabang - Discovering the sticky rice

Today we leave for the fields. In an organic farm more precisely, who cultivates the essential Oryza sativa.
