Kampot et Kep sur Mer

Located one hundred forty kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh, Kampot is a particularly charming coastal town. Near the mouth of the River Preaek Tuek Chhu facing the sea and the sunset, Kampot seduces visitors with its atmosphere of old provincial town, with its tranquility, colonial architecture of old houses, by his old market and its obsolete fishing port.

Kampot is best known on the world map spices through a typical product: pepper with original flavors, commonly considered one of the best peppers in the world. Since the time of French colonization, green pepper in Kampot has been exported, the source of prosperity of the region.

Created by the French during the colonial time, Kep is recommended for tropical beauty of its access road, for its excellent seafood, its uncrowded beaches, its old colonial houses (and scars of war) and opportunity to make excursions to nearby enchanting islands.
