The South
Southern Region Laos remains the most sweet point of view of climate and the most intriguing because three of the most isolated and least inaccessible provinces are in the South. More than anywhere else in the country, we travel south with this feeling of tranquility and authenticity. The descent of Laos from north to south gives you a soft and pleasant scenery. This part of Laos is mainly populated lowland Lao, extraordinarily quiet and warm, living in harmony with nature at the edge of the majestic Mekong River, which marks a natural border with Thailand in the west, and continues its course until Cambodia. Among the attractions of southern Laos, do not miss the impressive Wat Phu Champasak incredible Khmer sanctuary, located in a totally isolated place in the world. But also the tray Boloven, fabulous waterfalls, including Tad Lo and rich coffee land. Then 4000 islands, islets lost off the Mekong that takes you in a timeless environment group. A paradise on earth! Not to mention the provinces Salavan , Sekong and Attapeu , yet little connected by road networks but concealing countless natural and human resources .
