Day 1
Luang Prabang arrival
Arrival in Luang Prabang airport, you will be welcomed by your guide in Luang Prabang. Transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the National Museum, which is the former royal palace built in 1904 under the French protectorate. In late afternoon, climbing Mount Phou Sito observe the most beautiful panorama of the city and enjoy the sunset.
Backto the hotel. The evening is free time you can visit the night market throughout Sisavangvong street, where they sell the finest Laotian tissues. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2
Luang Prabang discovery
From the first light of day ( between 6:00 and 7:00 am) you will have the opportunity to observe the monks reras, a Buddhist ritual millennium many monks dressed in saffron robes silently through the old town to beg for food as had done the Buddha: this is the scene of life that offers visitors the most beautiful travel photos. Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Discover the fresh food market Phousi, true mosaic of colors and scents, ethnological museum (closed on Monday) founded in 2006 whose purpose is to promote understanding of different lifestyles and traditions of the fabulous ethnic mosaic form the Lao people. If time permits, explore the UNESCO side will continue during this late morning. Lunch at local restaurant.
The afternoon exploration of the most beautiful temples in the city. We will go to Xieng Thong Temple, built in 1560, certainly the most beautiful and richest temple in the city. Transition to Wat Aham and Wat Visoun, which are the oldest temples in Luang Prabang. If time permits, visit other temples historic area filled some one of the finest architectural jewels of the country. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Kuang Xi – Luang Prabang
The morning is spent for a trip upstream the Mekong River to the Pak Ou caves.
After breakfast, embark on a small motor boat for a nice walk during which you can watch the lifetime in waterfront. A halfway stop visit to the village of Ban Xan Hai specialized in the production of rice wine - the most popular Laotian drink. Continue cruise to the Pak Ou caves which are the most famous Buddhist site near Luang Prabang. Exploration of all these caves loaded legends with their many statues of Buddha. Pak Ou lunch before heading back to return to Luang Prabang by late morning.
The afternoon is spent for a trip to the waterfalls of Tad Kwang Si, 30 km south of Luang Brabang by a good road that passes through villages H'mongs. The waterfall which forms many pools is a particularly nice place for nature lovers.
Return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Luang Prabang - Pakse
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Pakse Pick up by the guide and and transfer to your hotel.
The afternoon is spent to an excursion to the weaving village of Ban Sapai with typical houses and visit Wat Luang. In the evening, you can visit the night market. Overnight in hotel
Day 5
Pakse - Tad Fan - Pakse
Day excursion to the waterfalls of Tad Fan in the Bolaven Plateau. Program: hiking with crossing suspension bridges, animal watching, exploring of tea plantations and coffee.
Back at the end of the afternoon at your hotel. Free time. Overnight in hotel
Day 6
Pakse - Champassak - Khong Island
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Pakse for a pleasant 2 hours cruise on the Mekong to Champassak, a small village where share the many colonial houses still exists a very strong"Indochine" atmosphere. Then we go to the famous site of "Wat Phou" Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2001. This Temple older than the cities of Angkor but much smaller exudes a magical atmosphere. Visit the site and its museum.
Continue by road to Khong Island, the largest island of the Mekong. Installation at the hotel and free time. Bike ride for those who want(in 30 minutes)around Khong Island for sunset. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Discover the region of 4000 islands
Day canoe trip on the Mekong River to explore the islands.
You discover first Done Detisland. This small island is totally unaccustomed marked by the French colonial presence. The French had built the only railway in Laos to avoid falls and rapids of the Mekong. The goods were unloaded from ships to rail below the falls. This train crossing two islands to prevent falls and unloaded its cargo on ships above the falls.
Walk through the islands of Done Det and Done Khone. In late afternoon departure by canoe to go out, if we're lucky, the Irrawaddy dolphins(only place in Burma where you can watch this show). Stop the impressive Khone Phapeng, the most impressive in the region.

Day 8
Khong Island - Kratie (Cambodia)
After breakfast, you will reach the mainland and will be driven by private car to Dongkalor, door border between Laos and Cambodia.
Meet your guide and Cambodian customs formalities (visa will be issued at the border gate on payment of fees) and then on the road to Kratie via Stung Treng .
Stop visit to the village of SAMBOR which was the site of one of the first capitals of the kingdom of Chenla (6th century) and gives a real feeling of the end of the world.
Arrive in Kratie in early afternoon. Installing your Guesthouse. If time permits, excursion Sambok Mountain, Khmer temple located on a hill from which you have panoramic views of the Mekong River. Overnight at your guesthouse.
Day 9
Kratie - Kompong Thom
After breakfast, continue the trip downstream the Mekong with as destination the province of Kompong Thom, crossing paths through the center of the country bordered Khmer villages.
Arrive in the afternoon in Kompong Thom where you will be picked up in a hotel in the heart of a Khmer village SAMBOR the village.
The afternoon is spent to the discovery, walking or cycling in the village, local curiosities weaving, woodworking, farming. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10
Kom Pong Thom - Siem Reap
After breakfast, departure to Siem Reap. On the way stop in a village to enjoy the KROLANN (glutinous rice cake in bamboo). Visit the famous bridge SPEAN PRAP TOS located in Kompong Kdei town (60 km before arriving in Siem Reap) built in option and laterite by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th and early 13th century.
Arrive at Siem Reap in late morning. Check in hotel.
the rest of time is spent to afternoon a beautiful cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake to visit the fish, floating fishing villages and floating schools. This cruise also allows you to see up close the busy river traffic and local people. Boarding then back to the hotel.

Day 11
Siem Reap - Angkor Temples
Morning departure to visit the Angkor Thom (Great City) starting with south portal with the famous Bayon, the enigmatic temple with 54 towers decorated with 216 enormous faces of Avalokiteshvara( Buddha of Compassion). Continuation of the visit with the Elephants Terrace, the temple Phemean Akas and the terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon you will visit the temple of Ta Keo and Ta Prohm temple overgrown by the jungle. Your discovery continues with the wonderful temple of Angkor Wat, World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. With its soaring towers and unique bas-reliefs, it is one of the most extraordinary monuments ever conceived by the human mind, erected in the 12th century in honor of Vishnu.
Buffet dinner at local restaurant accompanied by a traditional Apsara show.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 12
Siem Reap - Angkor Temples
After breakfast at hotel, depart for an excursion to Kbal Spean (River of a thousand lingas) 49 km north of Angkor. It is a sculpture of many lingas in the sandy bed of the river that fed Siem Reap.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Visit in the afternoon the temple of Banteay Srei, whose name means "Citadel of Women". This jewelry pink sandstone contains remarkable carved lintels in incredible condition. Then visit the temple of Banteay Samre romantic before returning to Siem Reap. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13
Siem Reap – Tonle Sap - KompongPhluk village
After breakfast, departure to the Tonle Sap Lake to take aboat to Kompong Phluk, a Khmer isolated community, composed of three villages with houses on stilts are between six and eight meters. These villages with 3000 inhabitants are flooded half of the year allowing navigation through the mangrove forest. The unique ecosystem survives in soil soaked for several months supporting a variety of wild life including crab - eating macaque. Several village rsabandoned their homes during the dry season.
Back to Siem Reap to visit Wat Bo Pagoda, Old Market, SCHOOL OF ARTISAN SANGKOR located in the heart of the city. Supported by the Ministry of Education, this center, founded in 1992, seeks to revive the ancient Khmer art. Overnight in hotel
