Day 1
Hanoi arrival
Transfer: (30 km - 45 minutes)
Arrival at the airport of Ha Noi, you will be greeted and taken to the hotel.
Stroll through the city and discover quietly small crowded streets of Vietnamese cycling and small motorcycles. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi
Day 2
Hanoi Cooking Classes – night train to Lao Cai
Night train: 8 hours
First traditional breakfast Vietnamese: Pho, excellent soup broth prepared by small street restaurants to start the day! You chain on a cooking course: a walk to the market, very intense place of life, rich in meetings to choose the ingredients you will enjoy later. It is in a charm in gold quarter of Hanoi and, accompanied by a chef and his assistants that you will be asked to make some traditional dishes. In the afternoon, small digestive walking through the Old Quarter.
Tranfer in the evening to the raiway station to take the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight in soft bed cabin
Day 3
Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Sin Chai – Y Linh Ho – Sa Pa
Walking: 4 – 5 hours
Upon arrival in Lao Cai. You will be met by local guide and driver then transferred to a local restaurant in Sa Pa for breakfast. Then start our driver to Sapa and transferred downhill to Sin Chai village of Black Hmong minority, which locates right at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain range. Here you start heading up the mountain. Once you get to the top, you will trek on a small trail with spectacular view and then gradually descend to Cat Cat village, where you will have lunch nearby a waterfall. In the after noon, you take a trail sneaking through mountain. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river you eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest in a nice spot nearby the beautiful river. Back to Sa Pa in the afternon. Overnight in hotel
Day 4
Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Homestay
Walking: 4 – 5 hours
Breakfast in hotel then the driver will take you to Muong Hoa valley, the largest one in the area. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You spend the night in a traditional house of Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby. Overnight at home stay.
Day 5
Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Lao Cai – Ha Noi
Walking: 2 – 3 hours
Transfer: 50km – 1.5 hour
Today's trek is short, but still the landscape is beautiful. Once you get energy for your last day trek after having breakfast, you leave for Giang Ta Chai village where you can take a rest nearby a waterfall to enjoy the surroundings. You will continue trough a bamboo forest, and when you have passed the forest we find a nice place to enjoy lunch. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you continue on a small trail towards Supan where your transfer back to Sapa is waiting. At late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai station to leave for Hanoi.
Short stop in the market in Lao Cai for your shopping or visit. Overnight on train
Day 6
Ha Noi - Cruise Halong
Transfer: 200 km – 4.5 hours drive
Early arrival in Ha Noi, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for breakfast and shower before departure for Halong Bay and arrival at noon at Hon Gai Pier.
You will board your cabins in traditional junk to admire one of the most sublime landscapes of Asia Southeast. Lunch on board while sailing in the Bay of Bai Tu Long. The film Indochine was filmed right before your eyes! Overwater, admire thewell-known islands: island teapot island headman...
Discover Cong Doan Thien Canh cave. Enjoy the beach for more than an hour when stopping the junk to Hon Coi sland, swim or kayak in the program (depending on the season)!
Day 7
Ha Long - Hanoi - Hue
Transfer: 200 km – 4.5 hours
Visit the floating village of Vung Vieng and his school. Last swim in the Bay for the more adventurous! ... On the way to Hanoi, visit But Thap pagoda, dating back over 300 years. Night, crossing from the North Vietnam by night train to Hue.
Day 8
Hue arrival & visit
Arrival in Hue around 8am. You will be picked up and breakfast in the local restaurant before check in hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the citadel whose architecture is remin is cent of citadels oriental with a touch of French inspiration. Cyclo tour in Old streets of Hue. Overnight in hotel
Day 9
Hue Cycling
In the morning,you will visit Hue and surrounding country side by bike. Road to the village of Phu Mong with a stop to visita typical house of Hue with a garden. Visit Thien Mu pagoda and boat cruise to Minh Mang Mausoleum. You will again take the road bike to Duc Son Pagoda. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Hue
Day 10
Hue - Danang - Hoi An
Transfer: (110 km – 3 hours)
Drive to Hoi An by the collar of clouds to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the bay. Several stops are planned on route including one in Lang Co beach. In Da Nang will visit the Cham Museum before arriving in Hoi An, one of Vietnam's most pleasant cities. Free time in Hoi An. Overnight in hotel
Day 11
Hoi An - vegetable village of Tra Que - bike tours
Morning bike ride and visit the village of Tra Que Vegetable, renowned for its herbs and more precisely itsmintandbasil.The leaves, which appear smaller than usual, have aparticular flavor. This morning you will discover the life of the farmers and you will be introduced their techniques. You will discover the work of digging and picking vegetables. Lunch witht asting of the famous specialty of the village, "Tam Huu", an assortment of shrimp, pork and herbs along with six other dishes with regional specialties.
Day 12
Hoi An - Da nang - Ho Chi Minh City
Flight: 1hour
Free morning in Hoi An. Afternoon flight to the country's economic capital, Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon. Pick up and transfert to the hotel. Free time in Sai Gon. Overnight in hotel
Day 13
Ho Chi Minh City - BenTre – Sai Gon
Transfer: (100 km – 3 hours)
Morning departure for the mythical Mekong Delta where you will board a boat in the town of BenTre. Discover the daily life of the inhabitants of the Delta, their customs and attend the manufacture of bricks and coir. Leave your boat sail towards Cai Son and Nhon Thanh where local families have specialized in the manufacture of mats. Tasting seasonal fruits. Lunch with the locals. In the afternoon, stroll in a rowing boat visit Cai Coi cove and visit by motor boat manufacturing rice. Back to Sai Gon. Overnight in hotel
Day 14
Ho Chi Minh City - International flight
Take a stroll through the city center, discover Ben Thanh Market, the Central Post Office, magnificent colonial monument, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, eat Bun Bo in a small local restaurant and do your last minute shopping. International return flight, arriving the next day.
