Day 1
Hanoi arrival
Transfer: (30 km - 45 minutes)
Arrival at the airport of HaNoi, you will be greeted and taken to the hotel.
Stroll through the city and discover quietly small crowded streets of Vietnamese cycling and small motorcycles. Overnight at hotel in HaNoi
Day 2
Ha Noi city tour
Start your day of exploring Hanoi with a walk in the gardens of the former Palace of the Governorof Indochina, now become the Presidential Palace. Discover the One Pillar Pagoda on stilts of Ho Chi Minh, the founder of modern Vietnam, and the inside of his Mausoleum (except Monday and Friday when visiting the interior is impossible).
You can also visit the pagoda Tran Quoc at the edge of the large Lake (West Lake), and the Museum of Ethnography, which offers a way of life, customs and habits of the 54 ethnic minorities populating Vietnam.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, the first national university in the original architecture built in the eleventh century and now dedicated to the worship of Confucius and the Scholars. This Temple has become the symbol of Hanoi and the Vietnamese Culture.
In the evening, you will enjoy a puppet show on the water, folk art of the peoples in the Red River Delta. Overnight at hotel
Day 3
Hanoi – Mai Chau – Homestay
Transfer: 170km – 4 hours
Bicycle: 2 hours
A mountain road leads to the bowl Mai Chau where the white Thai dominate for a long time. Hoa Binh province marks the entrance to the North West. At the road side, Thais, Muong, Dzao, Hmong... Women retain their flattering attire. Rice terraces and traditional stilt houses: Typical scenes of Vietnam. The afternoon bike or walking tour, the best way to discover these enchanting landscapes. Accommodationin a house on stilts Ban Lac village. Dance and local music. Tasting fermented rice( Ruou Can). Overnight at homestay.
Day 4
Mai Chau –Thung Nham - Tam Coc
Transfer: 150 km – 3.5 hours
Breakfast at homestay then departure to Ninh Binh province via Nho Quan district. Arrival in Tam Coc, check in hotel
In the afternoon, you will take a bicyle trip to to visit Thung Nham, watching the spectacular natural scenery that nature endowed with Vai Gioi and Hang But caves. You continue to visit the gardens, flower hills, trees thous ands of years....upon arrival in the bird sanctuary, visitors will be sailed, crept under the forest canopy to observe wet land for aging birds fly through the night shelter. Tens of thousands of birds fly about bean filled wet lands in the valley, forming anatural landscape unique creatures. This is the beauty of Thung Nham characteristics that get no where. Back to the hotel by bicycle and overnight in hotel
Day 5
Tam Coc – Ha Long bay
Transfer: 250km – 5 hours
Depart for Halong Bay and arrival at noon at Hon Gai Pier.
You will board your cabins in traditional junk to admire one of the most sublime landscapes of Asia Southeast. Lunch on board while sailing in the Bay of Bai Tu Long. The film Indochine was filmed right before your eyes! Over water, admire thewell-known islands: island teapot island headman...
Discover Cong Doan Thien Canh cave. Enjoy the beach formore than an hour when stopping the junk to Hon Co island, swim or kayak in the program (depending on the season)!
Day 6
Ha Long - Hanoi – night train to Hue
Transfer: (200 km – 4.5 hours)
Night train: 13 hours
Visit the floating village of Vung Vieng and his school. Last swim in the Bay for the more adventurous! ... Hue arrival & visit
Arrival in Hue around 8am. You will be picked up and breakfast in the local restaurant before check in hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the citadel whose architecture is remin is cent of citadels oriental with a touch of French inspiration. Cyclo tour in Old streets of Hue. Overnight in hotel
Day 8
Hue Cycling
In the morning, you will visit Hueand surrounding countryside by bike. Road to the village of Phu Mong with a stop to visita typical house of Hue with a garden. Visit Thien Mu pagoda and boat cruise to Minh Mang Mausoleum. You will again take the road bike to Duc Son Pagoda. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Hue
Day 9
Hue - Da nang - Hoi An
Transfer: (110 km – 3 hours)
Drive to Hoi An by the collar of clouds to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the bay. Several stops are planned on road in cluding one in Lang Co beach. In Da Nang will visit the Cham Museum before arriving inHoi An, one of Vietnam's most pleasant cities.
The afternoon is spent for the visit of the old part of the city full of charm human scale, with major interests Sanctuary: Fuji and edicated to the patron goddess of fishermen and sailors, and the Japanese bridge built in1593, between the Chinese and Japanese neighborhoods, the house of TanKy, one of the jewels of the hoi an naise architecture, the museum of ceramics, tailor shops...Overnight in hotel
Day 10
Hoi An -bicycle countryside tour
Our local guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby and take you by bicycle through the tiny village lanes to the river where you can learn about the daily life of the local people. Keep cycling through the fields of corn, sweet potatoe, the forests of nipas, the lakes of shrimp and crab farm. On the way, we will visit houses for worshipping ancestors and houses of handicraftmen such as: blacksmiths, carpenters and masons where you can learn many unusual things about life in Hoi An. Back to Hoi an town for lunch
In the afternoon, depart by a boat from Thu Bon wharf on Bach Dang street and sail along the major branch of the lower section of Thu Bon river, enjoy the beautiful scenery along both banks of the river and the many boats bobbing on the waters. After that, you will be taken to the Cua Dai estuary, going up to the Co Co river and heading for Bay Mau nipa (water coconut tree) grove where you will disembark and discover the daily life of the people there. Back to Hoi An and overnight in hotel.
Day 11
Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City
Flight: 1 hour
Free morning in Hoi An. Afternoon flight to the country's economic capital, Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon. Pick up and transfert to the hotel. Free time in Sai Gon. Overnight in hotel
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre – Can Tho
Transfer: 200 km – 4 hours
Morning departureforthe mythical Mekong Delta where you will board a boat in the town of BenTre. Discover the daily life of the inhabitants of the Delta, their customs and attend the manufacture of bricks and coir. Leave your boat sail towards Cai Son and Nhon Thanh where local families have specialized inthe manufacture of mats. Tasting seasonal fruits. Lunch with the locals. In the afternoon, strollin a rowing boat visit Cai Coi cove and visit by motor boat manufacturing rice.
Transfer to Can Tho. Check in hotel and overnight in Can Tho
Day 13
Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh city
Transfer: 200 km – 4 hours
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the wharf, then boarding a motorboat for sightseeing Cai Rang which is biggest and colourful floating market in Mekong delta. From the early morning, the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc... Sellers hang a sample of what they have from the top of a long pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling.Then take motorboat along small leafy creeks to local orchard and enjoy tropical seasonal fruits (included). Around 10:30 come back to hotel, have free time for sightseeing or cycling around. 12:00 check out
Going back to Sai Gon with a stop-over at Vinh Long market. Overnight in hotel
Day 14
Ho Chi Minh City- International flight
Take a stroll through the city center, discover Ben Thanh Market, the Central Post Office, magnificent colonial monument, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, eat Bun Bo in a small local restaurant and do your last minute shopping. International return flight, arriving the next day.
