Day 1
Arrive in Phnom Penh
Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel. First organized visits depending on the arrival time. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2
Visit Phnom Penh
Today is spent for the discovery of the Cambodian capital. You will begin by the central market and the Russian market, authentic sites where the daily life of Phnom Penh exposes
Continuation with the Royal Palace and splendid Silver Pagoda and the National Museum of Fine Arts, an architectural master piece containing beautiful piece sadorning the temples that we know today.
End of the day: mini cruise on the Tonle Sap River, a tributary of the legendary Mekong River. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3
Phnom Penh - Kratie
After breakfast, depart by road to Kratie. This trip allows a number of meetings with a very welcoming Khmer population. We do not miss the break in Skun, a village famous for its spiders and preparation food! Travel in a countryside made up of green rice fields dotted with palm oil, rubber plantations, small picturesque monuments,slowimmersion in the Khmer ruralpillar of the Angkorian civilization.
Arrive in Kratie, check in hotel. The afternoon is for a cruise on the Mekong and meeting with Irrawaddy dolphins, then excursion to the village of Chhlong. Overnight in hotel
Day 4
Kratie - Ban Lung
Road to Ban Lung, the capital of Ratanakiri Province, with approximately 1 hour drive and 4 hours of track . Ratanakiri is a set of bushes, forests, clearings, subtropical jungles still haunted by wild beasts , waterfalls, volcanic lakes, rushing rivers , dusty red dirt tracks , sylvan solitudes, country of minorities kreungs, kachaks, kacos, Mnong, Braos jaraïs and a set of groups and proto- Indo-Chinese sub- groups living away from the modern world, in fear of jungles and geniuses they contain. So Ratanakiri has everything it takes to become a dream destination for travelers in search of adventure and authenticity.
We pass by the bridge on the Sre Pok river where some scenes of the movies The 317ém section and Apocalypse Now were filmed. Transfer and relaxing moment in our lodge or hotel. The afternoon ride on trails traversing the rain forest to the falls Kachanh. With a little supplement, this ballad may be on an elephant! Overnight in Ban Lung.
Day 5
At the heart of the territory of Kroeung
Departure on the track by 4x4, crossing the lava field Rumplan Veal, towards the Laotian borderto the town of Taveng. Picnic lunch on the way and visit Kroeungv illages, ethnic minority known for their traditions and singles houses. Back to Banlung by trails through the rain forest through the waterfalls of Chaong. Overnight in Banlung.
Day 6
Ethnic villagesaround BanLung
Our 4x4 pass through a bamboo forest to Voeun Sai District. We ship and sail the Tonle Seasan River to visit the village of Kachaun, renowned for its funerary totems. Most people in this country are Chinese and Laotian (Lao Long). We visit their village, Lao Pagoda and its surroundings. In the late afternoon return to Ban Lung and visit the volcanic lake Yeak Lom, set in a lush jungle. The site has a sacred character to the inhabitants and mysterious creatures inhabit these pristine waters ... Night Banlung.
Option = Road to the Vietnamese border, Bokeo, laterite track towards the Tonle San River. Visit jaraïs villages Austronesian group established between Cambodia and Vietnam. A Pakap, boats on long canoes, sailing on the Tonle San, along the banks, in the shadow of ancient giants and a amphigène vegetation. Stop at the village of Ban Bru Lav, then three-hour hike in a subtropical jungle bordering the forest sanctuary Virachay. Picnic lunch, then return to the boat, down the Tonle San to the village of Ta Veaaeng Leu. Return via a track Kroeung villages, ethnic minority Austroasiatic origin, known for its houses single, specific buildings perched on high stilts.
Other choice = from Pakap, ascent the Tonle San. Visit the village of Ba Bru Kham and 3-hour hike in the jungle. Back to boats descent Pakap. Overnight in Ban Lung.
Day 7
Ban Lung -Kompong Cham
After breakfast, we drive to Kompong Cham. Towards mid day, stop for leisure in Kratie along the Mekong, where we taste the local specialties. We continueto Kampong Cham and visit a rubber plantation and production plan trubber. Overnight in KampongCham, charming provincialcity.
If time permits, visit the women hill(Phnom Srei) and menhill(Phnom Pros) which from the top you have a panoramic view of the Mekong.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8
Kompong Cham -Siem Reap
After breakfast, departure to Siem Reap via Kampong Thom where you will make a detour to discover the royal capital of the seventh century by visiting Sambor PreiKuk, the largest complex of pre - Angkorian Cambodia.
A second stop will be in the village for a taste Krolann specialty cakesticky rice in a bamboo stalk. Beautiful landscapes, rice fields view dotted by palmoil. We learn the techniques of construction of the largest cantilever bridge arches still visible, the Spean Pra ptosremnant royal roads leading to Angkor.
Arrive in Siem Reap in the afternoon. Free time until dinner. Buffet dinner accompanied by atraditional dance show local Khmer restaurant: the dance of the Apsaras. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9
Siem Reap - Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
We begin our day with a bike ride. We cycle for about 45 minutes and will be conducted on less frequented routes to the places listed as World Heritage. Dive into the jungle through a local village and local shop. This is a very special and active where you can discover some of the finest temples of Angkor day.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas terraces of Elephants and Leper King. Continued visit the famous Angkor Wat temple and the Bakheng hill with views of the beautiful sunset from the top. Back to hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 10
Siem Reap - Banteay Srei - Preah Khan - Meak Péan
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for the excursion to Kbal Spean (the river of thousand lingams) 49 km to the north of Angkor. It is of carrres of stone which were used to bless the waters before they arrive at the royal city. The peaceful environment of the place allows you a beautiful promenade
Continuation of visits with the mythical temple of Banteay Srei whose name means: "The citadel of women". This gem of pink sandstone contains remarkable lintels carved in incredible state of conservation.
In the late afternoon, on the way back to Siem Reap, visit the romantic temple Bantey Samre, nicknamed "Angkor Wat thumbnail", of the ancient city of Preah Khan (city of the royal fortune victorious) and Neak Pean, a surprising site built in the 12th century. Return to Siem Reap, overnight in the hotel.
Day 11
Siem Reap - Beng Mealea - Banteay Kdei - Srah Srang
You go this morning out of the circle of Angkor sites for a visit outside of the common Beng Mealea temple - the daisy chain of the pond - east of Siem Reap (60 km - 1h20 transfert by car). This Temple which is still located in the wild state and strangled by the jungle gives the impression the visitor to be the first explorer. Away from the bustle of Angkor Wat, the place is particularly suitable for the reverie and meditation.
Picnic lunch on the site, before you take to the road to other Angkor temples: Thommanon, temple of the 12th century dedicated to Vishou, Chau Say Tevod which is illustrated by beautiful images carved in honor of Shiva and Vishnu, then the Buddhist temple Banteay Kdei (Citadel of the cells) and the basin of the SARS Srang (basin to the ablutions) which was a royal pool 800 meters of length. Return to the city at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12
Siem Reap –Tonle Sap - Kompong Phluk village end of the circuit
After breakfast, departure to the Tonle Sap Lake to take aboat to Kompong Phluk, a Khmer isolated community, composed of three villages with houses on stiltsare between six and eight meters.These villages with 3000 inhabitants are flooded half of the year allowing navigation through the mangrove forest. The unique eco system survives insoilsoaked for several months supporting a variety of wild life in cluding crab-eating macaque. Several villagers abandoned their homes during the dry season. Return to your hotel or transfer to the airport for departure.
