Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap - visit the Museum of Angkor
Arrival in Siem Reap airport, you will be picked up and transfer to your hotel. Free time for your leaisure or personal visit
According to the time of your arrival, we will arrange a visit to the museum of Angkor to give you a general view on the civilization and the Khmer art
Buffet Dinner at the local restaurant accompanied by a traditional dancing show of the Khmer: The Apsara dance. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom
Departure in the morning for the visit of the wonderful temple of Angkor Wat, inscribed on the world heritage of humanity by UNESCO. With its soaring towers and its bas-reliefs unique, it is one of the monuments the most extraordinary ever conceived by the human mind, erected in the 12th century in honor of Vishnu. Compared to all the other temples, Angkor Wat is the most famous and the most majestic.
After lunch in town, visit of Angkor Thom starting by the terrace of the Leper King, platform which presents several admirable carved figures of Apsaras emerging out. Your tour continues along the terrace of the Elephants who hosted the pomp of the royal hearings and public ceremonies. Continuation to the south portal with the famous Bayon Temple, the enigmatic and enchanting temple composed of 54 gigantic towers decorated by 216 faces of Avalokiteshvara (Buddha of compassion). On the return path, you will also visit the With Ta Prohm, temple invaded by the jungle and discovered in 1860 by the French explorer Henri Mouhout.Return to your hotel. Free time.
Day 3
Siem Reap cooking class
This half day excursion will take youto one of the most famous Siem Reap cooking schools for culinary extra vagancehand. The day will begin with shopping at the market. So you know all the ingredients used in Cambodian cuisine: fresh herbs, spices, exotic vegetables. All courses are taught by experienced chefs who will give youall the tools necessary to achievea Khmer home plate. After a few weeks to compose and discover new dishes hours, you can eat comfortably with the rest of the class. A car will take you to your hotel at the end of the course. Customized menu scan be requested in advance.

Day 4
Siem Reap – Battambang
Transfer: 173km – 4 hours
You will leave Siem Reap after breakfast and depart in the direction of the shopping town of Svay Sisophon. Then you drve to the province of Bantey Meanchey to discover the incredible temple-jungle Bantey Chhmar (Citadel of the cats), famous for its performances of the face of Jayavarman VII. You'll embark on a detailed exploration of the temple and can then enjoy the fine sculptures of Lokesvara, with its 32 arm, whose nickname khmer Lok Sam Pi means "Mr. 32 ". These sculptures are similar to the marvels of the room of dancers in the temple Preah Khan. You splashes this sleeping giant, then visit the outdoor complex, with the door of Ta Prohm, a replica of the massive doors of the citadel of Angkor Thom and crimped a moat.
After a picnic, you will depart in the direction of Sisophon, then of Battambang, the second largest city in the country and historical site located on the sides of the river Sangker. You will spend the night in a comfortable local hotel.
Day 5
Battambang
Visit of the 2nd city of Cambodia, located in the heart of vast plains where are cultivated the best agricultural products of the country: rice, coconut, oranges…Stop in the very colorful market, before the visit of the small museum and of the Damrei Sâ pagoda which is one of the most beautiful pagoda in the country.
Excursion up to Prasat Banon in following the course of the Sangker river in the middle of a green nature. Prasat Banon or" banana hill" is a nice temple perched at the top of the hill, "368 steps to climb with roped fans " .Overnight at hotel in Battambang.
Day 6
Battambang - Phnom Penh
Transfer: 290km – 7 hours
Departure from Battambang to the small town of Pursat located half way to Phnom Penh, we will adapt the departure time depending on what you want to do during this day.
A Pursat visit during an hour of Kompong Luong in motor boat. This amazing floating city of nearly 12000 inhabitants, mainly of Vietnamese origin, moves by following the level of the lake.
Continuation to Phnom Penh passing by the province of Kompong Chnang, famous for its pottery and its cham communities. Visit to a village of potters.
A 36 km before arriving in Phnom Penh, visit of the most beautiful pagoda of this province located at the foot of the hill of Oudon (former capital of Cambodia from the 17th to the 19th century).
Day 7
Visit Phnom Penh
Breakfast at thehotel.You start by visiting the National Museumwhich contains the finest collection of Khmer sculptures, the Royal Palace, theSilver Pagoda which is most sacred in Cambodia and Wat Phnom Pagoda which is perched on the only woodedterrain of the top of 27m where you can make prayer for good things city.Then, Toul Sleng Museum visits and Charniers Choeung Ek,the largest center of detention and torturein the country. Walk in the Ruisse market where you can buy antiques, souvenirs ...Overnight in PhnomPenh.
Day 8
Phnom Penh – culinary tour& boat cruise
The morning is spent to explore the local market and learn about Khmer cuisine. Cambodia has a great variety of national dishes and the guide will tell you many stories about the local food
Start with a pick up from your hotel and travel by tuk tuk from the hotel to the market, as many buyers will do to make their purchases. Walk through the aisles while the guide explains the different herbs, fruits and vegetables and the best way they are used in Khmer cuisine.
The walking tour will last about 2 hours before going to a local restaurant which uses many of the ingredients seen at the market. Various dishes are ready cooked and French-style baguettes (num pang) and the tasty nom banh chok can be ordered. This day tour is ideal for foodies and lovers of local experiences.
Free afternoon and in the evening enjoy an atmospheric sunset dinner river cruise and watch how Phnom Penh’s popular riverfront comes to life in the early evening. You will take 2hours cruise on board as you enjoy watching Phnom Penh from a different angle whilst you dine. Back to the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh
